EIA (Energy Information Agency) just released these projections for the coming heating season:
HEAP applications began on NOVEMBER 13.
Find information on the HEAP program (Home Energy Assistance Program) and find out if you are eligible to apply for assistance, as well as where to apply by county. Funds may also still be available for tuning up furnaces. Also provides Emergency Information: https://otda.ny.gov/programs/heap/
Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance Commissioner Kristin M. Proud said, “Though the economic recovery continues, we know many households are struggling financially. I encourage anyone planning to seek assistance through the Home Energy Assistance Program to do so as soon as possible. The easiest way to do so, for households outside of New York City, is to visit myBenefits.ny.gov.”
REDUCED RATE MEMBERSHIPS/LABOR UNIONS:
Are you or someone in your household a current or retired member of a labor union that is not on our list of “participating labor unions” for discounted membership? Have a representative get in touch with us and we’ll provide simple information for them to consider participating with Citizen Action Fuel Group–it’s that easy!
ARE WE THE BEST OPTION FOR YOUR NEEDS?:
Many oil dealers are offering Pre Buy or downside protections (which require an additional fee) on CAP pricing (CAFG does not offer these programs). Please see our “Prices” page for information on CAFG’s pricing.
Explore your options, pick the best option for you, and look into helpful programs to help you save money (see links by clicking on the “Resources and Info” page).
